My name is Meghan. I have Bipolar I Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and Anxiety Disorder. I write about myself, my illness, my past and day to day life. I’m just here telling the truth about my life and living with mental illness. I’m not going to sugar coat anything. Why should I?

I just finished writing a book about myself and my time spent in psychiatric hospitals, here it:
US Kindle
Australian Kindle

Note: I am not a doctor or health professional. Nothing on here should be taken as or in lieu of actual medical advice. Everything here is just my opinions and experience.

  1. I am so happy to have found your website. I got here from you guest post on bluelightblue. I admire that you are so open; one day I hope to be also.

    1. It can feel good to be so open, kind of therapeutic in a way. If you’re afraid, I was afraid at first too but then thought, fuck it, I can do this, I can write whatever I like! If people don’t like it then that’s on them, not me 🙂

  2. Hello, I was sent your blog by Marty (@gumonmyshoebook) and I absolutely love it! I am a mental health and psychology blogger over on seetheuniverse.co.uk (@seetheuniverse_ on twitter and instagram)

I think that it is so important to be open and honest about mental health illnesses as well as physical illnesses and I adore how open your blog is.
I have to say, I really enjoyed reading your poetry section, I write the odd poem myself. I feel as though poetry is a very easy way to express feelings and emotion, better than any normal conversation can!

Keep up your amazing work and #HaveHopeAlways! – You are a very strong human being.

    1. Oh, I love Marty! I’m really glad that you enjoyed it, you brought a smile to my face 🙂 I’ll go over and check out your blog right now Xx
